Barcelona

We made this trip during grandma's visit in February 2008. We rented our usual Alfa Romeo and hit the road. Due to the short duration of this visit, we decided to take a city tour bus and see parts of the town that we did not want to walk or drive. We stayed at a hotel near Avinguda Diagonal and Plaza de Francesc Macià, which was a reasonable walking distance from the Ramblas and provided excellent accommodation for the price.
Much of the details faded from the memory and I will not have the time to add the historical details of the city at the moment; however, we love this city: it is vibrant and exciting. Typical Spanish relaxed and happy characteristic mixed with a healthy dose of big city life. I would definitely chose to live here.
